You may have heard some whispers recently about Ellie Lee Oldfield, the up-and-coming, Pittsburgh based singer/songwriter fresh on the scene – and taking it by storm. Her hair and edgy style may catch your attention first, but it’s her vocal range and musical flare that will suck you in from the first to final note. Covering everything from classic rock to modern pop while infusing her own new-day punk vibes, audiences of all genres are more than satisfied. But, it doesn’t end there. While pursuing her musical journey, Ellie began writing original material which she weaves into her live show at just the right moment.
Ellie feels that she was “born with music” in her soul and, with talent that goes beyond her young years, she’s ready to share her music with the world. The singer/songwriter has been playing live shows two-three times a week in the local and surrounding areas and has a consistent upcoming schedule.

For the last few years Ellie Lee has been performing, locally and out of state, as a solo performer, in a duet, trio, and also as a full band called Same Moon. Performing in over 100 shows per year.
Ellie Lee had been chosen as one of the winners of WYEP's Reimagination IV Project for her song Runaway. She has since produced a music video for the song, filmed at the Ohio State Reformatory (where the movie Shawshank Redemption was filmed).
Some of the places she's performed are Pittsburgh’s NYE First Night, Greensburg’s Summer Sounds series, Latrobe’s Banana Split Festival, Deutschtown Festival, Keybank Pavilion for the 30 Seconds to Mars concert, Delaware’s Ladybug Festival, Live on Atlantic’s Virginia Beach summer series, along with performances in the Pittsburgh and tri-state area for festivals and at many local wineries, breweries, restaurants, and clubs.

Just prior to the pandemic closures Ellie Lee had restructured the band and is looking forward to starting projects with her new band as soon restrictions are lifted. She has been busy writing more original music and is thrilled about all the new and exciting changes coming!
